Limited Warranty For Bridgestone All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Tires

Who Is Eligible?

You are covered under the terms of this warranty for any new Bridgestone-brand ATV tire bearing Bridgestone’s name and assigned identification number if your tire has been used only on the vehicle on which it was originally installed.

What Does This Warranty Cover And For How Long?

If, before the earlier of (1) the tire’s tread depth wears down to 1/32" or (2) four years from the later of the proven date of purchase or the date of manufacture, any tire covered by this warranty becomes unusable for any reason within the manufacturer’s control, such tire will be replaced with an equivalent new Bridgestone tire as described below.

Replacement Price

If the tire becomes unusable for any reason within the manufacturer’s control during the first 50 percent of wear, such tire will be replaced with an equivalent Bridgestone tire at no charge to you for the tire. All other service charges (including wheel removal and installation), disposal fees, and applicable taxes are payable by you.

After the first 50 percent of wear is attained, such tire will be replaced with an equivalent Bridgestone tire, but you will be charged for the treadwear, prorated by multiplying the owner-user’s regular buying price in effect at the time of the adjustment by the percentage of original tread depth that has been worn from the tire. All other service charges (including wheel removal and installation), disposal fees, and applicable taxes are payable by you.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  1. Damage resulting from causes beyond the manufacturer’s control, including, but not limited to, field or road hazards (caused by nails, glass, metal, potholes, curbs, or other causes of cut or impact damage to your tires), improper repair, excess speed, misuse, improper mounting or mounting procedures, misapplication, use of nonapproved rims, improper inflation, overloading, running flat, acute underinflation, defective brakes or shock absorbers, abuse, negligence, willful damage, oil, chemical action, fire or other externally generated heat, water or other material trapped inside the tire during mounting, tire alteration, racing or competition purposes, and improper insertion of sealant, balance or filler materials.
  2. Conditions caused by aging, improper storage, or weather.
  3. Claims for irregular wear.
  4. Tires purchased and used outside the U.S.A.
  5. Failure to observe any of the safety and maintenance precautions prescribed by Bridgestone and/or the tire industry.
  6. Ride complaints made more than 60 days after the date of purchase or without proof-of-purchase.

Owner’s Obligations

If you are seeking warranty consideration, you must present your Bridgestone ATV tire to any authorized Bridgestone retail outlet in the U.S.A. Consult your telephone directory for the nearest authorized Bridgestone retail outlets. You must complete and sign the customer section of the Bridgestone limited warranty claim form, and pay the appropriate replacement price, taxes and service charges. You must also save and present your proof-of-purchase, where relevant to your warranty coverage. If you do not save and present your proof-of-purchase, the purchase date will be deemed to be one month after the first day of the tire’s week of manufacture. Your vehicle on which the tire was equipped must also be available for inspection. Tires accepted for warranty compensation become the property of Bridgestone.

Important: Proper tire care is necessary to obtain the maximum mileage and wear from a tire. It is your obligation to operate tires within tire load and specification limits and at air pressures specified by your ATV manufacturer for load and speed according to individual tire size, type and load capacity.

We strongly recommend that you have your Bridgestone retailer inspect tires any time you notice irregular or uneven treadwear or at the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended mileage, if sooner.
